Jay Crocker

In the summer of 2003, guitarist and songwriter Jay Crocker began drafting the idea of scoring large scale arrangements to his “melting pot” style  of songwriting. After a year of intense writing and soul searching, he emerged with a selection of tunes arranged for a ten piece band, ready to be recorded and shared. The result was Melodies From The Outskirts, an eight-song avant-garde, indie pop, afro jazz album with a sound full of soul, angles, roots, grit, and heart.
